Rumors say that the next set of referrals are in the works in Beijing, and could start arriving stateside as early as Friday. With this next batch, the last families with LIDs from December 2005 (that was us) and the first families with LIDs from January 2006 are expected to receive their referrals.
We learned from our agency last week that with the first January 06 referrals, they expect that we will learn what LID group in January our dossier is moving with. So, while we have no promise of a referral, we expect at least to have a new date to count down to.
On a happier note, we have friends expecting their referral this time, so we've been anticipating sharing in their good news.
